The 24th

Based on a true story, The 24th follows the all-black Twenty-Fourth United States Infantry Regiment in the events surrounding the Houston Riot of 1917. As African American soldiers face brutal violence and abuse from Houston police officers, tensions erupt into a mutiny involving 156 members of the regiment, exposing the injustice and conflict at the center of a defining moment in American history.
