In a sleepy Hungarian-speaking village in Transylvania, Romania, time seems to have stood still and most of the residents are well into old age. Yet love and desire remain very much alive. With only a few men left among 25 widows, rivalry and longing stir the village, giving rise to stories of romance that are by turns tender, playful, and scandalous.
