After her husband asks for a divorce, Diane, a conservative New York City lawyer, leaves the city with her teenage children, Jake and Zoe, for a family vacation upstate. Their destination is Woodstock, where they meet Diane’s estranged mother, a free-spirited hippie living on a farmhouse. As three generations come together, old tensions and very different ways of life shape their uneasy reunion.
