A Hawaiian teenage surfer leaves the ocean behind for the snowy slopes of Vermont, where his balance, confidence, and board skills face a very different kind of challenge. Far from the waves he knows, he learns to apply his surfing talent to mountain terrain and shows that his abilities can stand out even in an unfamiliar winter setting.
