Jewel's Catch One

This documentary profiles Jewel Thais-Williams, the trailblazing owner of The Catch, America’s oldest Black-owned disco. For 42 years, her Los Angeles nightclub brought LGBT and Black communities together, challenged discrimination, supported people with AIDS, and became known as the West Coast’s answer to Studio 54.
