A psychology student is determined to help her sister, whose crippling psychosis has taken over her life. What begins as an attempt to understand and cure the illness leads the sisters toward a far darker source than either of them expects. As they come closer to the truth, they are exposed to an ancient creature connected to the psychosis and intent on claiming their souls.
